Billy Hime - The Interview

Aren't you lucky listeners, I've spent half the night recording and editing an interview with American Teen Podcaster, Billy Hime.

Billy Hime is the host of six Podcasts ...
  • Teen Life Podcast (www.teenlifepodcast.com)
  • Techline Podcast (www.techlinepodcast.com)
  • Mac on my Life (www.maconmylife.com)
  • Shut Up Get Naked (www.shutupgetnaked.com)
  • 10 Minute Blitz (www.10minuteblitz.com)
  • Noobatronic (www.noobatronic.com)
And we've managed to score an interview with him, which shall be played on the show on Wednesday during "The Podosphere" and will also be included in the podcast.

That's all there is for now, so from the egotistical pig that is myself and on behalf of the lovely hamsteresque Dr Nick,

Bye!

Coming Soon to The Podzone...

Greetings! It's not very often that I drop by here. In case you didn't know or even if you don't care I'm Chris Leydon, founder and host of The Podzone.

Well I'm awfully sorry that there hasn't been a Podzone Podcast yet but I'm on the case and I'm transferring the Podcast over tonight and it should be posted up as soon as possible, however I'm not here to talk to you about The Podzone Podcast - that much...

The reason why The Podzone Podcast is so late being uploaded is because of what's coming soon to The Podzone. Yesterday afternoon, after The Podzone, when Nick and I are usually editing the podcast something magical was happening. This is the big announcement that I want to talk to you about now.

When you currently think of The Podzone you think about the radio show or the podcast, however that will soon all change. The original plan was not to announce this until we had finished this project completely but for some reason I cannot contain my excitement, however to keep you all on the edges of your seats and intrigued I shall not divulge too much information at this particular point in time. All I shall say is this, The Podzone is making a move into the new digital revolution.

The code-name for this project at this moment in time is "The Podzone Gets Personal". There you go, that's your lot for the moment. I do believe though that there are more hints in the podcast, although I could be wrong.

Anyway time for me to go for now, so until next time it's bye from myself...

Chris Leydon

The Constitution of The Podzone

The Constitution can be found here!

Good evening, people. This is Dr Nick bringing you the wonderful news that the newly-ratified Constitution of The Podzone is now available for viewing. Thanks to our friends at Google Docs and Spreadsheets, you can now view the Constitution at:

Thank you and goodnight.

From the constitutional Dr Nick, on behalf of the constipated Chris Leydon.

The Missing Podcast!

My Lords, ladies and gentlemen- this is an official announcement on behalf of the Podzone.

As all those who listened to the Podzone on 11/10/2006 (and if you didn't, where were you??) will know, the show suffered from some SEVERE technical problems. As a result, there's no podcast. We're sorry, we're sorry, we're so, so, sorry!

Just so you can feel like you were there, this is roughly what happened, because this week's Podzone was quite honestly more fun than a bouncy castle full of knives.

We talked about Fred Elliot's death in Coronation Street- gutted! Can't believe it.
We talked about the Robin Hood programme.
No-one got the Mystery Voice.
We had the Tech News, the Traffic News, and the Podsafe Music Chart.
And Nick's STD was 0151- Liverpool.

I'm welling up- I'm so upset I can't hear it again!

Anyway, listen to the Podzone on Wednesday 18th October from 4pm-5pm BST on Youthcomm Radio and you may hear an interesting addition to the line-up...

Intrigued? No? Well listen anyway.

From the rather cold Dr Nick! On behalf of Mr Leydon also, of course.

Dr Nick's First Post

Dr Nick's First Post

Well hello there. This is everyone's favourite fake psychological professional, Dr Nick Cooper, without whom the Podzone would be an hour of Chris, and hence much more professional and fluent.

This is the part where my ego swells to the size of a small Azerbaijani flea, as I am a complete radio newbie and have no technical knowledge whatsoever. I can, however, type and this is why this post is still going. I am also skilled at peeling bananas, and re-setting clocks for British Summer Time.

I am now officially manager of this blog, though I'm sure that this responsibility will be taken away from me in due course, as it falls into disarray and is responsible for several major wars being started. I hope that there will be several replies to these messages on here, or I will be very upset.

So 4-5pm on Youthcomm Radio- listening is most probably the best thing you will do ever do in your life!
